| Description | While playing "Sony Mont Blanc HDR UHD 4K Demo" with PotPlayer and MadVR, there are pink artifacts in the video. If the video is played with Windows 10 "Films and TV" software, no such artifacts are seen. | ||||

| Additional Information | This was run on a computer with i9-8950HK, Nvidia 1080, 16GB Ram. I have tried various configs as well as defaults but the issue remains. Tried on internal laptop display as well as external monitor. | ||||

Can you try different decoders? E.g. try LAV Video Decoder. Both software decoding and DXVA. |

Fixed after I reset PotPlayer settings to default and chose MadVR again. I didn't try reset PotPlayer before to avoid losing key bindings and other settings and thought PotPlayer might not be the issue. The default settings for MadVR don't look as good as Windows "Films and Movies" player on a few 4k videos I am testing, but I will try other settings to figure that out. Thanks for the quick response. |
