Well, if you deinterlace 25p video, you get 50p. So LAV must be sending 50p to madVR. Which is obviously not 25p. The option is not meant to treat 50p as 48p.

I understand. But it's too easy to forget that software deinterlacing is enabled.
To be honest, I found out the cause just by accident. Isn't it worth to treat 50p as 48p indeed?

That wouldn't make too much sense because most TVs support 50p, but only very very TVs support 48p. The situation is totally different with 25p vs 24p.
