Summary0000139: madVR crashes when MPC-HC is launched in fullscreen mode
DescriptionApologies is this is a known error. MadVR crashes close to instantly when 'launch in fullscreen' is enabled in MPC-HC. Once it has crashed and you disable 'launch in fullscreen' the same file will continue to crash if opened, but other files do not.
Steps To ReproduceTo stop it crashing, you have to close MPC-HC and click 'show hidden icons' on your taskbar and hover over all instances of filters to make them go away then re-launch mpc-hc with the same file and everything will be OK.
Additional InformationApparently this isn't possible to reproduce with Windows 8.1 x64. It also doesn't matter if FSE is enabled or disabled as well.

Ops, I messes up the "Steps to reproduce" and posted the wrong text. That information was supposed to be together with "additional info".

To reproduce this, you need to set MPC-HC to open in Fullscreen mode, then open any file (prefer mkv) and it will crash. If it doesn't just try a few more times and it should. When it does, you disable the option in MPC-HC but it still keeps crashing.

Does madVR display its typical exception box, allowing you to send/store the bug report? Or is it a crash in MPC-HC? If it's a crash in MPC-HC then it's probably their job to fix it. Have you tried older MPC-HC builds (preferably a very old build, just to make sure) to double check that if it's independent of the MPC-HC version?

madshi, it seems that it was already fixed indeed. As you've said this was likely a MPC-HC problem, but just for formalities I'm using madVR 0.87.4 and the latest of all the other components I mentioned, neither me nor my other friends can reproduce it anymore. I'm not sure if I should use "closed" or "resolved" so I'll leave that to you.

Thanks for your time.
