| Description | seeking/pausing in fse with frc on often freezes video (sound keeps going). switching out of fse will allow it to continue playing, switching back to fse will give a black screen. restarting the player is needed to play again in fse. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | randomly happens when hitting seek/pause keys... i'd estimate 10% of the time. can reproduce quickly by rapidly hitting them. | ||||

trying to attach the log compressed with 7zip gives a "File type not allowed for uploads." but it submitted the report anyway and i can't delete it. 7zip'd log is 400k while zip'd it's 1m, .7z should be allowed. |

I've tried 30x seeking and pausing. Worked just fine here. This is with v0.86.2, though, where I've already implemented a Smooth Motion FRC fix. Could you please retry with v0.86.2? Does the problem still occur? If so, please create and upload another log with v0.86.2, and please do it like this: (1) Seek/pause until the problem occurs. (2) Let audio play for 20 seconds. (3) Close the media player. Do not seek/pause/whatever another time. Please make sure that you close the media player in the state where video playback is still frozen. This will make it much easier for me to find the right place to look in the log file. Thanks! |

It still happens with 0.86.2 It also happens when using the HD4000 instead of nvidia, and madvr's "ffmpeg/libav software decoder" instead of lav. I created a new debug log with your instructions and uploaded it. |

I've tried to fix the problem based on the information in your log. Since I can't reproduce the problem here, it's hard for me to know for sure if the problem is fixed. Could you please try the attached test build? Does it fix the issue for you? |

i was experiencing the same issue with a NVidia GT450M (Driver 314.22) and your attached test build fixes the problem. |
