| Description | On latest madVR 88.2 10-bit output does non work anymore. previous version 88.1 10-bit output works properly. My hardware is nvidia quadro 4000 and Pioneer plasma LX5090. On version 88.1 when I enter full screen my TV automatically switch to 36-bit color mode, but on version 88.2 these not works anymore. | ||||

Which OS are you using? If it's Windows 7, do you have Aero/DWM/Desktop Composition enabled or disabled? And do you have the "disable desktop composition" option enabled in madVR? |

The D3D11 option requires desktop composition to be enabled, unfortunately. Well, technically it's only needed for D3D11 windowed mode, but I can't really separate D3D11 windowed mode from fullscreen exclusive mode. So if you have desktop composition disabled, madVR will ignore your wish to use D3D11 and use D3D9 instead. You can solve this problem simply by enabled desktop composition. I can already guess that you won't like this. But in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 desktop composition is already on, anyway, without any (proper) way to turn it off. |

I tried to enable desktop composition but 10-bit output still doesn't work. statistic for ver. 88.2 say fulscreen exclusive mode (New Path) while on ver.88.1 say fulscreen exclusive mode 10 bit, and my tv screen restart to 36 bit color mode. |

Are you sure that desktop composition is really enabled? If the OSD says "fullscreen exclusive mode (New Path)" then that means that madVR is using D3D9 instead of D3D11. |

Ah sorry my mistake. Forgot to enable Aero. Now 10bit works Ok. TV switch to 36bit mode in FSE Thanks Madshi |
