| Description | With smoothmotion to enable only when there's judder and refresh rate is 60hz smoothmotion disables for 30 fps. With 24 fps and 72hz (71.9945) refresh rate and 23 and 24 fps sources it stays enabled. With 25 fps and 75hz (74.9835) it also stays enabled. Motion is just as smooth and there's no artifacts/ghosting with it disabled. Expect it to disable. | ||||

My displays can't do 72/75Hz. Can you please upload a log? Just start playback with 24fps @ 72Hz, let it run for 5 seconds, stop, zip, upload. Thanks. |

I uploaded a bunch of logs that cover all the issues I reported here. 48hz and 50hz custom resolutions also work with this lcd although the specs say 56-76hz https://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VW224U/#specifications is there any reason to worry? 25 switches to 50hz and disables frc which is correct, 24 at 48hz still enables frc. One thing about 72hz is madvr sees it as 72hz but reclock sees it as 60hz and is yellow instead of expected green. So maybe there is something wrong with nvidia instead of madvr or maybe its reclock. I setup a 73hz (actually 72.57hz is the closest to 72 I could get)resolution that satisfied reclock with same results in madvr, no judder without frc but it gets enabled. |

Logged the smoothmotion testpatterns as well, maybe there's something to be had there but isn't a 30fps pattern missing? I realize 60 covers it with double deinterlacing but 30p is still pretty common in the wild, web streams and such. Also remembered the testpattern bat files won't install on anything but the windows drive because @cd /d "%~dp0" is missing, same problem the madvr bat files had awhile ago. |
