| Description | as per the title this is not a bug and likely low priority but I'll ask anyway would it be possible to add a option in madvr to execute a command when playback starts e.g a batch file or powershell script ect ect the reason for this is that my HT setup requires that I launch a application to switch the system over to `theater` mode which entails setting a custom gpu fan profile adjusting color profiles and switching the displays to HDMI out I have been executing this script manually but its pretty tiresome I realise I am likely the only on that would have a use for this feature but who knows maybe somebody has a similar annoyance thank you every so much for the years of work for the best thing to happen to my HT setup in years | ||||

Hi there, the bug tracker is really only meant for bug reports, not for feature requests. Anyway. Starting a script when playback starts sounds more like something the media player should do, because that is not something that is video rendering specific. So at this point I don't think it makes sense for me to add this feature. I'm sorry. |
