Weird. And the problem only occurs when using madVR? It doesn't occur when using EVR? Do you have any DX9 games? Do they still run fine? |
I played lots of games, and they work fine. And yes, when I use madVR, players crashed. |
But are those games DX9 or DX10/11? Have you tried different GPU drivers? You could also try deleting madVR and re-downloading it, just in case some of the files got corrupted somehow. Is this a new problem? Did it work in the past? If so, what has changed that it crashes now? Did you upgrade some software or hardware recently? |
P.S: The 2nd screenshot is more helpful than the 1st. Can you please make a screenshot of the 2nd tab ("call stacks")? |
yeah Team Fortress 2 is a DX9 game. Before I met this problem, I was using the previous NVIDIA drivers, I finished setting up the players almost 1 year ago. And yes, I tried updating MadVR before I came here and report(was using 0.90.xx before). It's a New Problem. It doesn't happened in the past. Only crash report appear on my Desktop. Only games and Intel Management Engine Interface were updated recently. |
Can you zip the crash report on your desktop and attach it here? You say only games and Intel Management Engine Interface were updated recently. But what about NVidia drivers? Did madVR still work fine after you upgraded the NVidia drivers? |
oh yes, I forgot the driver xD but it worked fine after update. It's all about the reboot after the Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 update(that's all update I thought). and I'll make a zip. |
Maybe Kaspersky is causing the problem? You could try disabling Kaspersky, just as a quick test. The crash report all says "internal error" which is very weird. It suggests that something is VERY wrong, but I don't know what. Is madVR installed on a SATA harddrive? Or on a network or USB drive? Can you try 32bit madVR version + media player? Same problem there? If so, when that crash window appears (with the "call stacks" tab etc), please press Ctrl+C to copy the whole bug report into the clipboard. Then open notepad, press Ctrl+P, save it, zip it and attach it here. Maybe if we're lucky the 32bit crash report might be more helpful. |
1. Tried, nope. 2.Yes it's on my SATA harddrive. 3.how do I activated 32bit-version, is it using a x86 player ok for activating 32bit-version MadVR? |
hmm I dled the 32-bit potplayer and then get the MadVR setting on and it works fine. Help me check if the setting is right to the test. |
Yes, you need a x86/32bit player, e.g. MPC-HC 32bit/x86 or PotPlayer 32bit/x86. |
In PotPlayer if you press Ctrl+J when playing a video, does the madVR OSD appear? If so, it seems to be working fine. |
yes, it worked fine. tested. |
Ok. So it seems there's some problem with the 64bit version. I don't know what the problem is or where it comes from. But I suppose you can use the 32bit version for now as a workaround. FWIW, nobody else has reported a problem like this, so it seems to be something specific to your PC/installation somehow. |
I'll reboot again see if it gets all right. |
At last, I fixed it with the reboot.... That's weird. And thanks for the super speed to help me. Sorry for wasting your time, it's working well after the reboot. Wish you have a nice day, Mate. |
