Summary | 0000486: Blueescreen when opening video in fullscreen on second display
Description | Originally reported on the Zoom Player forums, and I can reproduce as well. If you try and open a video in Zoom Player - madVR set as the video renderer - while Zoom is open in fullscreen mode on a second display, the PC will instantly bluescreen.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Have two displays, Windows 10 (NVIDIA user, that may or may not matter). 2. Set Zoom to use madVR, and open Zoom in fullscreen mode on the second display. 3. Open File Explorer, and double click a video to open in it Zoom Player. 4. PC should bluescreen at this stage.
Additional Information | I have noticed that sometimes opening Zoom Player's file browser (Shift+F) while Zoom Player is open in fullscreen on the second display and then using it to open a video file will also cause a bluescreen, but this is not 100% reproducible as the double clicking method is. It does not matter if FSE mode is enabled or not (I have it disabled - as well as Overlay - and I see the problem and the other user had FSE enabled I believe).
