| Summary | 0000055: Using madVR's FSE seek bar results in inaccurate seeking for DVDs | ||||
| Description | When trying to seek within a DVD using madVR's FSE seek bar, the seek bar will not hit the location clicked on with the mouse pointer but some time before or behind that. It seems to only happen after around the 4 minute mark regardless of the movie length. Whether the seek lands before or after the expected time seems to not be fully random, i.e. given a certain time it will reproducebly be either before or after the expected mark. It only happens with DVDs and only with the FSE seek bar. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Start DVD playback 2. Go into FSE mode 3. Seek to a point behind the 0000001:0000004 minute mark | ||||
| Additional Information | The problem does not seem to be limited to specific DVDs or specific MPC-HC/LAV/Catalyst versions. Concerning attached log: I hope you don't get confused by the length - I first went through the menus to an episode, then into FSE mode and then seeked into the middle once. It seeked way too far. | ||||
