A log won't help if it's a crash. Do you get a madVR crash box? It looks something like this:
If you get this crash box, please click on "show bug report", then press Ctrl+C to copy the bug report into the clipboard. Finally, paste the bug report into a text file, zip it and attach it here.
You do get this crash only when using madVR, not with any other video renderer, correct?
No I just got error message in potplayer, and the error code is not helpful.
Yes, only when using madVR.
Well, if you didn't get that specific error window, then it might not be a crash inside of madVR, but a crash inside of PotPlayer instead. I'm not sure if I can help with that. Have you tried asking the PotPlayer dev about it?
Just tried in kmp, got another error from madVR crash box
Tried upload but this web shows: File type not allowed for uploads.
Upload should work if you zip it.
uploaded, but I think it's a different issue.
I don't know if it's a different issue or not. It's a crash in the Nvidia driver when trying to free the D3D11 interfaces. You could try a different GPU driver. Or if that doesn't help, you could try disabling "use D3D11 for presentation". If that also doesn't help, and if you have error diffusion dithering turned on, you could try turning that off. Or you could try turning the "measure each frame's peak luminance" hdr setting off.
trying MPC-HC looks like working fine, thanks!
