Summary0000591: Some modes of "create screenshots with a custom zoom factor" do not work properly.
DescriptionNamely modes with "x% view" work as: x% * encoded video size and not: x% * viewing resolution. 'Normal' screenshots work as intended(no black bars when changing aspect ratio), but it's pain to change monitors to just make a screenshot.
[Quick question: Does it make sense to toggle on "use high quality scaling algos: NGU-AA" when using dedicated profile(for screenshots) with the same primary algo? Or it will overwrite some other settings?]

E.g. 200% view is intended to be 200% of the encoded (but aspect ratio corrected) viewing size. So it seems to work as intended?

The "use high quality" checkbox has the benefit of using the highest quality of each algorithm, which your GPU might not be fast enough to use the highest quality for smooth playback. Other than that, there's no change.

E.g.: Video is 1920x1036. I want to make 3840x2160 wallpaper. If i choose 2160p mode i'll get 3840x2160 wallpaper with blackbars, if i'll choose 200% i'll get 3840x2072[no aspect rato changes]. If i want to make 3840x2160 without blackbars(corrected aspect ratio with proper settings) i would need to plug into 2160p display and make 'normal' screenshot. I'm asking for that 3rd option in software.

If the video is 1920x1036 then the most correct way to create a 3840x2160 screenshot is to have small black bars. The only other option would be to use a "2160 / 1036 = 2.0849420849420849420849420849421" zoom factor. In that case you would end up with 4003x2160. Of course you could then crop that down to 3840x2160, but that would mean cutting off valid image content on the left and right side. Which is BAD, IMHO, which is why the screenshot settings don't have an option for that.

Yes you are right here. I would totally agree, but there is also another solution[that i'm using]: no cropping only scaling x and y differently[which program already does perfectly]. Yes i know i'll be slight distortion[in that case 4,2%], but sometimes it's preferable than 40px black bars.
P.S. I know that i could remove black bars in image editor, but i prefer not to because madVR already does it better than me.

I hate cutting off pixels, and I hate distorting the image. Of course you're free to do that, if you like. But I don't think I want to add options for that to the screenshot settings, to be honest.
