I can't seem to reproduce this. When I remove the 3dlut and then restart the media player, it will simply show a red error warning "3dlut not found" over the video image. I can then enter the settings dialog and correct the problem. Where did that crash occur? In the media player? In madVR? In the settings dialog? Did you get the normal madVR exception report dialog? If so, can you please attach the bug report? |

As soon as I click play in MPC-HC the crash occurs. madVR does not produce a crash report itself. It also seems like it only can be reproduced if you have a long 3DLUT filename. For example set the following as an external 3DLUT: GDM-F520_05-09-2013_Source_tv_b20_Display_sn_a1_b20_l86.231201_ila_XYZ_LINK.3dlut Exit the media player, and rename to: GDM-F520_05-09-2013_Source_tv_b20_Display_sn_a1_b20_l86.231201_ila_XYZ.3dlut Start the media player and press play, and the BEX crash occurs. |
I also have never seen a "3dlut not found" error message over the video image in this version of madVR. |
The crash will be fixed in v0.86.2. |
