Platform | Intel i7 860 / Nvidia 9600 GT | OS | Windows XP | OS Version | x64 english SP2 |
Summary | 0000078: The colors aren't correct
Description | Can't watch any video (doesn't matter the codec) with the correct colors; they all look grey/washed.
Steps To Reproduce | Just open any video. It *looks* like an OS related problem, as I can get the same apps/plugins to work on another machine with Windows Seven. Or maybe a machine specific problem. I need to install Windows Seven to check, or perhaps a virtual machine.

Of course XP 64bit is a rather "odd" OS, cause it's used pretty rarely. So it's possible that it has to do with the OS somehow, or maybe with the GPU drivers or something like that. For me it might be problematic to fix because I don't have an XP64 machine to test with. I could setup a virtual machine, of course, but those are usually not madVR capable. If this problem is really limited to XP64 then this might stay an unresolved problem. Let me know when you have more information. As soon as I can reproduce the issue on my PC, I can look into it. But it would have to be win7 or win8. |

I've figured out the solution, although I don't know exactly what's the problem. I just removed 'mpc-hc.ini' (attached) file and everything now works flawlessly. Thanks for your support! P.S.: amazingly when I'm using madVR render I don't need Reclock in order to get smooth playback :) |

Good to hear you found a fix. Although I don't fully understand it... ;-) |
